Working with young people is a rewarding experience. Using hand tools and power equipment to fashion a boat is fun. You do not need experience in either to become a volunteer worker at Mobile Bay Institute. Helpers are needed to teach, build and mentor. Schedules are flexible. Volunteers are also needed during fundraising events such as frequent yard sales.

Volunteering Options Include:
  • Mentoring Apprentices
  • Boatbuilding Classes
  • Teaching (GED)
  • Fundraising
  • Family Boatbuilding Events
  • Yard Sale Assistants
  • Social Media Coordinator
  • Construction Crews
